Like this comment 16 Report abuse. Striding Edge vs Crib Goch — Striding edge is a good practice for Crib Goch, which is effectively a narrower, slightly more technical version of it. Are you looking gch learn new skills, coach or take people climbing, mountaineering or hill walking? I was too and as further height was gained the bad step began to ease into a more even rocky scramble. The path back up to the ridge beyond the gap. Even the experienced will find Crib Goch a challenge, particularly if it is for the first time.
It was an epic walk and is my recommendation for a linear walk across the Snowdon Massif. And as I gazed across the face of the mountain gcoh I really see a face?

How to scramble: Crib Goch
As we walked the approach path to Crib Goch excellent views of the Pass of Llanberis were provided. The route is far more difficult in crin winds or frozen ground, and so it’s recommended that walkers check the weather forecast beforehand. A map will show plenty of detail, particularly if you look beneath the rock and crag markings at the contour lines. No recent Facebook posts to show.
The Watkin Path proved to be a lovely way to leave Snowdon behind. We’ll assume you’re crkb with this, but you can opt-out if you wish. I hoped there would be because on my previous walk up Snowdon some persistent summer cloud had draped itself over the top metres. At this point the scrambling becomes much more hands on, with rocky ledges and steps to contend with.
